Supported Child Care Assistant
• Support the inclusion and active participation of children with identified support
needs
• Implement individualized strategies within daily routines and play-based learning
• Work collaboratively with childcare educators to ensure shared implementation of
support plans
• Model inclusive practices that strengthen team capacity within the childcare setting
• Collect and document observational data to inform planning and reporting
• Promote positive social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Foster safe, respectful, and inclusive environments
