Webinar – Duty to Report: Keeping Children Safe

This presentation will provide an overview of your legal duty to report when you, as an Early Childhood Educator, come across situations where you have reason to believe that a child or youth has been, or there is a likelihood that they will be abused or neglected. This workshop hopes to increase understanding of children protection services, mandate, and what it looks like when a report is received and a social worker follows up with a family, so participants learn more about the Ministry of Education & Child Care’s role. There will be time for questions.
