Early Years Community Liaison

Responsibilities:

Major roles and responsibilities include:

1.      Provide families with up-to-date listings of registered and licensed child care facilities as well as education on how to choose quality child care.

2.      Assist care providers/parents with child care funding applications, including Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB).

3.      Assist in development and execution of family events that connect families to community, promoting and supporting child development.

4.      Community outreach and partnership (attend community meetings, early years tables, events, playgroups, etc.) to support families, child development and wellness.

5.      Provide professional development and training to families and professionals that align with Early Learning Frameworks and early years child development.

6.      Assist child care providers with recruitment, startup, training, resources as well as information related to funding and bursary programs.

  • $22+ CAD / Hour
  • 29th March 2025
  • Days / Times: Primarily weekdays 9am to 4pm with some evening and weekend work to deliver professional development and attend festivals/events.
