POSITION DETAILS
This is for a permanent position, working within our daycare programs
- ECE certified wages are set at $25/hour plus $6/hr wage enhancement.
- Position to start immediately, once a criminal record check has been
completed.
- This position is for a variety of shifts, 7:30-4:30, 8:00-5:00, or an 8:30-5:30 ,4
day week style schedule.
- Benefits package offered, RRSP contributions for full time employees, as well
as paid professional development.
- In this position, you would be a part of a collaborative team that works to
create a positive, productive, and growth-oriented environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
We are looking to hire an Educator with the following qualifications:
● ECE certified
● ChildCare First Aid or equivalent.
● Experience working within a childcare setting.
● Be comfortable and enthusiastic exploring nature in all weather.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Develop and implement child care programming that supports and
promotes physical, cognitive, and social development of the children.
● Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play,
music and physical activity.
● Maintaining daycare equipment
● Guide children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet
habits.
● Assist co workers in supervision and keeping daily records.
● Be knowledgeable of licensing regulations and requirements
● Attend monthly staff meetings
