In this workshop participants will experience an inclusive kids’ yoga class. Adaptations/modifications for all abilities will be discussed and explored. Participants will learn some basic chair yoga poses, strategies for various neurotypes and how to set up your environment. We will explore how yoga and mindfulness benefits all children and how to bring these practices into your classroom.

Presenter: Karen LeSage: I have over 25 years of experience working with children from birth to nineteen years of age in childcare and community settings. Throughout my career my focus has been on inclusion for all children. I am a registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher, a 95-hour Children’s Yoga Teacher, a certified Kidding Around Yoga Instructor, a certified Perinatal Yoga teacher and I’ve been trained in the Mindful Schools Curriculum.
