Webinar – Speech & Language Development in Young Children

This webinar will review speech-language and communication development during the preschool years. Emphasis will be placed on communication milestones, autism, stuttering/voice issues, augmentative and alternative communication, bilingual language development, where and how to access services and strategies to facilitate language development.

Suitable for ECE students, parents, intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals working with children of all ages, from infants/toddlers to school age children, including children with extra support needs.

Facilitator: Shari Linde

Shari is the director of Advantage SLP, a Speech-Language Pathology Office based out of Richmond with over 20 therapists. Therapists see clients in the Steveston office or in private homes, care facilities as well as via teletherapy. Shari has been an SLP for almost 30 years. She is on the Registry of Autism Service Providers and has training in Hanen’s “It takes Two to Talk”, “More Than Words” and “Talkability”. She is also trained in Natural Language Acquisition and in Oral Myofunctional Disorders.
