Webinar: Introduction to the Family Support Institute
In this introductory presentation, attendees will learn about the Family Support Institute (FSI). We’ll explore how FSI supports families and individuals with diverse abilities, offering resources, parent-to-parent support, and community connections across British Columbia. Participants will gain insight into FSI’s role in advocating for inclusive communities and providing accessible information and training. The presentation will highlight programs, support, and ways families can get involved or seek assistance tailored to their needs.

Suitable for Adult Instructors/ECE Administrators, ECE students, parents, intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals working with children of all ages, from infants/toddlers to school age children, including children with extra support needs.

Cari Rawling is an experienced Early Childhood Educator and advocate for inclusive communities. As a mom to three young adults, including two neurodiverse sons, she brings both personal and professional insight into supporting families with diverse abilities. Cari is passionate about building strong connections and fostering equity. She is excited to share how the Family Support Institute empowers families with resources, support, and community networks across British Columbia.
