Walk A Mile In My Shoes: Raising Awareness of Learning Differences
Walk a Mile in My Shoes is an experiential workshop that uses simulations and exercises to raise awareness about learning differences. The workshop helps participants to explore learning
differences such as: Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHAD, and Visual-Perception difficulties and the role early intervention plays in identifying and supporting children with suspected and
diagnosed learning differences. Through this workshop, participants will gain knowledge about current research and knowledge in the field of learning differences and a practical understanding of how it may effect a person’s everyday life at home, work and early education/care and school.
