The Importance of Sleep & Nutrition for Children

Join Certified Nutritionist Sidney Shindle as she explains the short term and long-term health benefits of nutrition & sleep for children. You will learn about what happens when a child doesn’t sleep enough, as well as what may cause children to skip out on naptime. From changes to routine, to upgrading their nutrition, this workshop will equip you with tips and tricks to help children get the sleep they need. Sidney will also explain why and how food affects the body, and she will teach you how to read labels, what nutrients your body needs to function and how to make a balanced and delicious plate to keep you energized all day. The food choices we make can affect our mood, energy levels, focus and overall health and how food choices can affect stress and mood in children.

Join us 9-9:30AM for light refreshments!
