Take It Outside! Integrating Literacy and Nature

This virtual workshop is ideal as we get ready for warmer summer weather! Early learning experiences in nature are essential for a child’s optimal development, health and well-being.

This presentation will:
• Share a variety of ways of extending literacy concepts using the outdoor environment as a learning tool.
• Provide hands-on ideas, resources and activities that can be integrated into current programs and services.

Nature-themed children’s picture book lists and literacy extension activity ideas will be shared by email. This workshop is geared toward those engaging with children from birth to six years of age.
