Stories to take and tell, Building your story collection to tell young children

Join us for a 2-hour storytelling workshop at the Squamish Public Library. In this workshop, participants will be given time to practice and build confidence while working on learning a story of their choice in a small and supportive environment. We will talk about choosing a story that is a good fit for your group and talk about ways to deliver it in an engaging and age-appropriate way. This workshop is an opportunity to build on your skills, giving you more ways to expand on your meaningful circle and share time in your care center or programs. Storytelling offers opportunities to build meaningful connections with young listeners through fostering a love of story, listening, and using your imagination.

About Erika Jaeger

The daughter of Sally Jaeger, Toronto storyteller and David Jaeger, C.M., composer and former CBC radio producer, Erika grew up in a musical and storytelling family.
