Spring Circle Time Songs & Stories

Tired of the Wheels on the Bus? Want to add some new songs and rhymes to your repertoire? Looking for fresh picturebooks to share with your kids? The librarian from the Port Moody Public Library will bring the best and the brightest new storytime tools for you to take to your circle times. Bring a rhyme or song to share with the group in this active, participatory session that will have you dancing in your seats.

Join us 6:15-7:00PM for light refreshments!

Corene Brown is the Programs & Youth Services Coordinator at the Port Moody Public Library and is an enthusiastic amateur ukulele player.  She taught herself to play the ukulele through a combination of hubris (how hard can this be?) and watching YouTube videos. She plays ukulele at story times, classroom visits, and does a mean version of the Gilmore Girls theme song.

Suitable for child care providers, child care workforce, and parents.

Professional Development Certificate: Yes, 2 hours.
