Social Emotional Enhancement and Development

Participants will learn about social emotional development in children and youth and how extra support needs can influence development. Participants will also learn about inclusive social emotional learning and considerations for adaptation.

Karen has 25 years of experience working with children and youth in child care and community settings. Throughout her career her focus has been on inclusion for all children. She is a licensed early childhood educator, infant/toddler educator and special needs educator. She has worked as a supported child development consultant for the past 16 years. Karen is a certified 95 hour Children’s Yoga Teacher and has been trained in the Mindful Schools Curriculum
