Networking: Benefits of Felt Stories Make & Take
This networking offers an opportunity to get comfortable telling stories to children as well as ways to become more creative in presenting stories and concepts at circle time. We will look at incorporating felt stories in the classroom so children have an opportunity to explore and play with them enhancing their own imagination and creativity. Felt stories can be used to provide learning opportunities such as counting, learning colours, letter and number recognition and so much more. Each participant will also choose a felt story kit and make a story to take home.
Light refreshments provided.
A two-hour professional development certificate will be sent to participants upon completion.
Suitable for child care providers and child care workforce.
