Kootenay Foraging and Networking for Child Care Providers
| Join us and Emily Roberts on a walk through Syringa Provincial Park and learn about the various native plant species in our region. After our walk, come down to the fire pit where hot coffee & tea and charcuterie will be provided next to a warm fire. Sit and chat with your fellow educators about the day’s events. Participate in hands on activities that introduce meaningful ways to engage with children and plants in child care settings. Discuss ways you will integrate the knowledge you’ve learned into your childcare spaces and the children you care for.
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions. The deadline for Registration is 12pm Thursday, Oct.5th.
Syringa Provincial Park campground is closed for the season. Right before the Campground gates where the road Y’s, take the right onto Deer Park Forrest Service Rd. Please park 2km up Deer Park Forest Service Rd., at the end of the Big Horn Syringa Campground. There will be signage.
