The Gathering Place is a storefront in Downtown Sechelt led by Jessica Silvey and Red Cedar Woman Weaving. Through this space, workshops are offered to our communities, creating encounters between indigenous and settler residents and visitors. Since the doors of The Gathering Place opened in 2021, people have been showing up to this space to learn from each other, to weave, and to share their stories.

The CCRR is hosting a weaving/story session for child care providers at The Gathering Place in Sechelt on Saturday, October 14, 2023.  Jessica will guide us in the weaving process and share some of her experiences.  Please contact us if you would like to reserve a spot in this workshop.
