Course’s description: This series of Inclusive Trauma Informed Trainings look at finding strategies to develop an inclusive and welcoming environment in Family Resource Programs, Early Childhood sites, Aboriginal Head Starts, Strong Starts and other early learning programs. Participants have the opportunity to learn about common trauma triggers, discuss early brain development and the impacts on attachment and processing of developmental trauma in connection with early brain development. We define what trauma may look like in a classroom setting, and examine common scenarios in small groups to strategize inclusive and compassionate responses as practitioners.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a 2 part workshop and attendance at both session is MANDATORY
