Illuminate Play! Using Light and Shadow in Play and Storytelling
Illuminate play is a four-hour experimental workshop inviting participants to play and explore the spectrum of possibilities for using light in early learning with children from infancy through middle childhood. Participants will engage hands-on with a broad variety of light sources and materials that will spark imagination, collaboration, and creation that will have tangible and practical applications from provocations to illumination storytelling. This highly participatory workshop pulls from the wisdom in the room through the co-creation of new learning.
