$30.00 Story kit gifted to you by the Langley CCRR

From felt board stories to puppets and from drawing stories to magnetic stories; and from oral storytelling to written works – I invite you all to join me in a  storytelling adventure and learn How to Tell a Story in Many Different Ways. Stories are meant to promote language development, develop problem-solving skills, develop creative thinking, develop imagination, improve public speech and be inclusive. Throughout this workshop you can expect to learn:

  • How to tell a story in a variety of ways
  • How to introduce language continuation to young children and adults alike
  • How to revitalize storytelling
  • How to be inclusive in your story telling. Bring your creativity, your smiles, and let’s create a story together!

My name is Oana Nistor. I am an Early Childhood Educator, Montessori teacher and storyteller. I’ve been working in the ECE field for over 20 years. I presently am an ECE instructor and teach the Early Childhood Education  program at Ridge Meadows College in Maple Ridge. I am passionate about children and I am passionate about stories and their teaching power. I believe stories have the power to include all children and their families. Stories and more importantly the power of story telling can help with language continuation and revitalization. Together, we can all share our stories! It is a pleasure and a privilege being able to present this workshop to you and introduce old ideas in a somewhat innovative and creative format. For more information about Story Baskets and/or workshop presentations please contact me at or at 604-833-7273
