In this workshop, we will focus on how to integrate safe and comfortable Nature Education Programming into your practice, which you can start incorporating into your program immediately. In doing so, we will begin by discussing the definition, history, philosophy and benefits of Nature Education, requirements for a successful Nature Education Program, policies & procedures (weather, wildlife, First Aid, etc.), program supplies, recommended gear, team building activities, group cooperative games, processing & reflection circles, Risky Play, site assessment & risk management.
