How Do We Know Children Are Learning Academic Concepts Through Play?

This workshop reviews the basic concepts of math and science and connects to early literacy and engineering. We look at how this knowledge is gained through natural development and t he focus of this discussion is play based and moves through many examples, illustrating clearly how elements of play are centered in academic thinking. Participants are invited to share, discuss, ask questions and actively add to this workshop through conversation.
