Stress is a part of life and can be found all around us. Child care is no exception. Child Care providers should be aware of the stressors each child is experiencing, and should be active in helping children in their child care programs manage and cope with stress. Child care providers can teach appropriate stress management. This workshop will not only help you recognize childhood stress, but provide you with many helpful resources to use in your child care environment when working and caring for children.

Vicki was providing licensed family child care in Coquitlam from 1989 to 2018, is a passionate child care advocate and has received many awards. Vicki presents many workshops for CCRR’s across the Province and at ECE conferences. Vicki is a Facilitator for BC Family Child Care Association (Responsible Adult and Good Beginning’s- Professional Development for Child Care Providers) and was on the board of BCFFCA. Vicki believes in sharing her knowledge with those who have chosen a career working with children.
