Healthy Childhood Development Through Outdoor Risky Play
This workshop looks at outdoor risky play and the benefits it provides to children. Through risky play, children learn about their feelings, trying new things, developing skills and exploring their physical and cognitive abilities in nature. When educators go beyond the playground, unique learning opportunities can be found.
