Behaviour Within
Let’s explore one of the most important aspects of working with children—their behaviours. Every child expresses themselves in unique ways, and those behaviours often tell a story about their experiences, environment, and needs. Let’s begin this journey with curiosity, compassion, and the shared goal of helping children reach their fullest potential. In this workshop, we will:
- Identify different types of behaviours in children—from those that show curiosity and confidence to those that may signal stress or unmet needs.
- Understand where these behaviours come from—looking at influences such as development, family dynamics, social settings, and individual temperament.
- Explore practical tools and strategies—so we can respond with empathy, structure, and support that helps children thrive.
- At the heart of our time together is the belief that all children are unique. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, but by deepening our understanding and expanding our toolkit, we can create inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and valued.
