Exploring Hands-On Science through Picture Books (IN PERSON)

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: We know that children love picture books and that books are a way to explore important topics and ideas. This practical workshop will show you how picture books can be used to ignite curiosity about science in young children. We will look at a few books and try out a range of hands-on activities that will inspire you to explore science in this way in your child care setting.
