Emergency Preparedness and Planning for Child Care Workers with Carolyn Sinclair
Carolyn is President of Strategic Business Risks Inc (SBRI). Who deliver customized emergency management planning, response goals and education. She assists companies and communities to build and maintain psychologically safe and healthy workplaces. Carolyn has supported several communities, groups, and agencies at a provincial, national, and international level. This support applies to before, during and after critical incidents, public health emergencies and disasters.
She has been an instructor at the Justice Institute of BC for more than having 25 years. She is presently instructing in the Emergency Management Division as well as the Centre for Counselling and Community Safety School of Health, Community and Social Justice.
She has over 25 years of professional and practical experience in the areas of emergency management, critical incident stress management, crisis response, and recovery.
This workshop will help participants plan, prepare, and create emergency preparedness plans and kits for work and home. Customizing all hazard emergency plans and kits for your homes and work sites is critical to being able to know when it’s time to stay or leave in an emergency regardless of the incident being a flood, fire, or earthquake. Personal preparedness builds confidence and capacity during challenging times. Participants will receive tips and tools to help them get started on new ways to look at Emergency preparedness and planning.
