Do You Want to Make a Snowman?
Langley CCRR will be covering the $30 cost of the craft kits for this workshop! In addition, each participant will receive a winter-themed book, and we’ll be serving hot chocolate and treats to make the session extra cozy and fun.
Do you want to make a snowman? – Come join me in making a cone puppet snowman and learn about puppets. Research has showed that puppets can help by supporting children in expressing feelings that otherwise might keep dormant or suppress. Puppets can be a non-threatening way of expressing feelings, provide a playful environment and learn new concepts. Puppets can put a smile on a child’s face. Puppets help adults become silly, be a child again, and explore the unknown. Making a puppet can help adults de-stress and become creative.
So, bring your creativity and your sense of wonder and lets make a snowman together!
