Developmentally Appropriate Circle Time: Tips and Tricks for a Fun Circle Time for Every Learner in Your Group – In-Person Workshop

Circle time is a special time in every child care program. It is a time for the group to get together and share experiences, learn to take turns, learn to be together, and a time for teachers to shine at what they do best. However, circle time is not for everyone and some of our little people have a hard time sitting for any period of time. This workshop is designed for caregivers to understand the purpose of circle time and how it can add to your program if it appeals to all learners. We will explore some developmentally appropriate themes for each age, what circle time should look like and, some fun and easy circle time activities that you can take away to your centres.

This workshop is presented in partnership with Reach Child and Youth Development Society.
