Joanna Sheppard ( she/her) is an associate teaching professor and in field learning/experiential learning lead at the University of Alberta. A wife and mom of two, Sheppard is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and she strives to be a positive role model in her personal ad professional life, advocating for inclusivity and acceptance for all. She is passionate about her works, the importance of collaboration and her desire to contribute to a more accepting society for generations to come.
