Strategies and Programming ideas will be discussed on: strengthening listening, working with children with ADD/ADHD, turning defiant behaviors into responsible behaviors, battling boredom, and bully prevention… The audience requests will also be discussed. The audience will walk away with lots of handouts on assisting with challenging behaviors as well as programming ideas.

Christie Akhurst, is currently the Facility Manager at Rosemary Creative Kids. Christie graduated from Langara’s Early Childhood Education Program in 1998 and completed the Special Needs Education and School Aged Certificates in 2003. She believes our role as an Early Childhood Educator and School Aged Educator it to inspire, to support child’s exploration and expression, and to foster and create connections.
