Screens and Small Children: What Research Says and What Actually Works

Parents and educators of young children have been watching the impacts of heavy media use on children’s health, behaviour and well-being for decades and the research backs up their worries, fears and optimism. This workshop looks at the role media plays in young children’s development and how screens can be introduced into children’s lives in a way that’s intentional, healthy and realistic. Participants will walk away with:
