Coaching Leaders with Child Care Licensing Jinah Kim and Alison Fulton

Coaching Leaders aims to empower early childhood program leaders in gaining  confidence with their skillsets, improving the quality of their programs, and supporting positive relationships with families and staff. This workshop will cover two modules taken from the program:

-Temporary Placements: What to consider when applying for one

-Legislative: Why we have it and how to find sections

Hello my name is Alison Fulton. I am an ECE, IT and a Licensing Officer and have been working in the Child Care industry for well over 30 years. I have hands on experience working with all ages of children, families and ECE professionals in many different facets of the Early Learning Industry. I’m happy to share my knowledge and experiences with you and support you in your learning to provide support and mentorship to your staff/colleagues.

Jinah is a licensed Early Childhood Educator and Special Needs Educator and a proud mom to a 4-year-old Autistic girl. For over 20 years, Jinah has served in various capacities in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care with extensive experience working with children, families and educators in childcare and community settings. Jinah currently works as a Child Care Licensing Officer for Fraser Health Authority and is completing her final year of Master’s program.  She is passionate about inclusion, neurodiversity and about creating safe and healthy spaces in childcare and all community spaces.
