Coaching Leaders aims to empower early childhood program leaders in gaining confidence with their skillsets, improving the quality of their programs, and  supporting positive relationships with families and staff. This workshop will cover two modules taken from the program:

-Communication: The benefits of clear communication and how it supports  compliance

-Care Plans: When do you need a care plan and how to maintain one

Hello my name is Alison Fulton.  I am and ECE, IT and a Licensing Officer and have been working in the Child Care industry for well over 30 years.  I have hands on experience working with all ages of children, families and ECE professionals in many different facets of the Early Learning Industry.  I’m happy to share my knowledge and experiences with you and support you in your learning to provide support and mentorship to your staff/colleagues.

My name is Oana Nistor and I have been a Licensing Officer with Fraser Health since 2020. Previous to being a Licensing Officer I have worked in the ECE field for over 20 years in various positions – from ECE classroom assistant to Manager of large corporations. In my position as a Program Coordinator I had the opportunity of communicating with parents, staff and management on a daily basis. I have worked with children with challenging behaviours and created care plans in cooperation with parents, staff and any other relevant parties. I hold an ECE certificate, a Montessori Diploma, a PIDP and a BA in Leadership.
