Children’s Rights and Parents’ Responsibilities
Join us for an engaging workshop on how Canadian law protects the rights of children and defines the responsibilities of parents and caregivers. We’ll explore key topics to help you feel confident, informed, and empowered in your role as a parent or caregiver. Whether you are raising children or supporting them in another capacity, this workshop will provide valuable information to guide you through your journey.

Suitable for ECE students, parents, adult instructors/administrators, intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals working with children of all ages, from infants/toddlers to school age children, including children with extra support needs.
Facilitator(s): Nora Bergh and Emily Jones
Nora Bergh is a non-practicing lawyer with over 10 years of experience in public legal information and education. She has a talent for explaining the law in clear and simple terms so you can understand and use it in your everyday life.
Emily Jones is a non-practicing lawyer with a background in criminal and family law. She is passionate about helping people build their legal capacity and increasing access to justice.
