Behaviour Detective Part Two:

In ‘The Behaviour Detective’ (part one) we learned about how behaviour is communication, and why we see challenging behaviours in our child care centers and ways to respond to them. Join the discussion on how we respond to challenging behaviours is key to creating emotionally safe spaces. And how the environments we create for children to learn in, play a pivotal role in how they behave in them. In this seminar we will continue the discussion and learn: How to effectively respond to challenging behaviours. Praising positive behaviours with emotionally responsive language. Teaching and guiding children in understanding their emotions and feelings through emergent curriculum. How to create environments that promote social emotional emergent learning. Increase our own emotional intelligence. Attendance at The Behaviour Detective part one will give this seminar more meaning.
