2 PART VIRTUAL BC Employment Laws 101 An In-Depth Look at Employment Rights for ECE – Justice Education Society with Sarah McCarthy and Erin Brandt — PART 2

PART 2–July 12th: This workshop will be tailored to provide Early Childhood Educators with a more in-depth knowledge base regarding BC Employment Laws, supplemental legal concepts, and employment contracts, in relation to the BC Employment Standards Act. Additionally, we would like to inform you that during Part 2 of the BC Employment Law workshop, we have arranged for an employment lawyer to join us for a 45-minute session. This will provide participants with a unique opportunity to engage directly with a legal expert in the field. While the lawyer will not be able to provide specific advice on individual cases, she will be available to answer general employment law questions and offer valuable resource information. We encourage participants to come prepared with their inquiries for the Q&A session, as it will be a fantastic chance to gain insights and clarification on broader employment law topics

It is encouraged, but not recommended, to also take part 1, which is offered on Wednesday July 5th.

This workshop will be held online through the Zoom platform.

You will need access to a laptop, tablet or computer with a camera or audio capabilities to join us.

A link to the presentation will be emailed to you the day before the workshop. Please click the link ten minutes before the workshop begins to join us. Further instructions will be included in the email.

For faster access you can download Zoom for free at https://zoom.us/signup
