Let’s Talk about Touching (LTAT) Educator Training
The Let’s Talk About Touching (LTAT) Educator Training is a comprehensive, trauma-informed professional learning experience designed for educators and professionals working with children aged 0–8 in early learning, child care, and primary classroom settings. Developed in British Columbia by Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC), the training equips participants with the knowledge, language, and practical tools needed to support children’s personal safety. Through experiential, hands-on learning, educators explore body ownership, consent, and the difference between safe and not safe touches. The training emphasizes reflective practice, cultural sensitivity, and embedding personal safety concepts into everyday interactions. Participants leave prepared to create safe, respectful environments that empower children to express boundaries and seek help from trusted adults.
Suitable for child care providers and child care workforce.
