DESCRIPTION:This workshop breaks down what pedagogy is and how it shows up in everyday practice.\nWe discuss the BC ELF, pedagogical choices and we focus on empowerment as we\nhighlight all the pedagogy we embody daily. This workshop discusses the origins and\nmeaning of pedagogy, how it shows up in ECE settings, and all the ways we embody\npedagogy daily. We use the BC ELF to examine pedagogical choices and then we go back\nto basics, dismantle academic jargon, and advocate for our professionalism in the child\ncare field. This workshop will leave participants empowered, and with deeper\nunderstandings of how we walk through pedagogy in our day to day lives on the floor.\n
