July 15th and July 22nd, 5:00-7:00\nEVERY PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A FREE ($70 VALUE) UKULELE TO TAKE HOME AND KEEP\nDescription: Create a happy class with 40 ECE songs using the ukulele (level 1). By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to play 40 common ECE children’s songs using basic ukulele chords. Incorporate music meaningfully into circle time to enhance language, motor, and social development. Through playing musical instruments, teachers and children, can easily build emotional intimacy, helping children foster brighter relationships with their peers. Most importantly, it will boost teacher’s confidence in their musical abilities, leading to a more joyful experience in the childcare sector.\nPresenter Bio: With over two decades dedicated to childcare, Michelle Moon has spent half her life nurturing young minds. Her extensive background as a director and specialized teacher informs her current research on fostering stability in IT classes. By introducing the ukulele as a key pedagogical tool, Michelle has seen a remarkable growth in children’s emotional and cognitive well-being. She is passionate about training the next generation of ECE teachers, helping them create “Happy Circle Times” that are immediately applicable in the centre.\n
