SUMMARY:Learn Through Active Play
DESCRIPTION:Learn Through Active Play (LTAP) is an interactive, professional development program designed to empower early care and learning to bring the power of active play into daily programming. Grounded in research and guided by practical strategies, LTAP equips educators to see their environments through an Active Play Lens, creating smoother, more joyful days for you and the children in your space. With a focus on simple, sustainable practices, LTAP helps educators strengthen relationships, boost well-being, and enhance children’s learning experiences. Participants will leave with practical tools, follow-up resources, and access to ongoing support that makes active play easier to embed in everyday routines.\nPresenter: Katie Konopczynski\n \nKatie has over 20 years of experience working in child care across Alberta and British Columbia, with expertise in child development, program planning, and educator support. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Education, and has dedicated much of her career to designing and delivering professional development for child care leaders and staff. As the BC Coordinator for Learn Through Active Play, Katie helps educators bring active play into their programs to support every child’s growth and development.\nZoom links will be sent on the day of the workshop; please contact our office if you do not receive one.\n
